My course selection at USC

Hi,

I worked for four years in India in Networking and Voice over IP. My job profile was in network and system administration and deployment. By working in VOIP I developed some interest in learning more about DSP. For this reason I wanted to have some introductory course in DSP. Here is my course selection till now:

Fall 2004
EE-483 (DSP), EE-464(Probability)

Spring 2005
CS-402(Operating Systems),CS-576(Multimedia Systems Design), EE-522(Immersive Audio)

Fall 2005
CS-551(Computer Communications,Govindan), EE-555( Broadband Networks),EE-550( Design and Analysis of Communication Networks)

I have not followed a strict path of a network track, but due to my interests I decided to make my courses a bit diverse. I struggled a lot with DSP and Probability due to being out of touch with Maths during my job. But I am content with my selection and now want to focus on networks this fall.
